Hi, I am like many others using kde and other apps on a terminal server,
I was wondering if there was a way for all users to share the same
binaries in ram as apposed to having each user load up an instance.

I saw HOWTO: Mount / in RAM and load apps instantly
<http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-296892-start-0-postdays-0-postorde
r-asc-highlight-.html> here
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-296892.html and it claims that apps
will start up instantly. I thought it would be ideal in a terminal
services environment to be able to have the already loaded apps just
shared in ram cos then they would load instantly and require very little
ram.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks

steve
