[Kde-kiosk] Menu blues...

Hi List,
If I create a new profile in kiosktool and take out (delete) a number of menu
items from the KDE menu, this works fine.
If I create a menu header with a menu entry below, I get a strange situation;
The menuheader is shown twice, once (as expected) at the top of all menus, and
once instance (not expected) in the middle of the menus.
In addition, the actual menuentry is missing, so only the menuheading is
visible.
I've noticed (?) that the actual XML menufiles don't contain any references to
the programfiles to actually launch when clicked, but rather points to some
desktop.menu entries. Is this correct - and if so, is this explained
somewhere?
Any good ideas as to what to do now?
Perhaps one could easier lock-down and restrict menus using the KioskTool as a
startpoint and then fine-tune using an XML-editor of sorts - working on the
actual menufiles directly?
