[Kde-kiosk] Disabling the tab bar in konqueror

I probably didn't explain this very well. I already have the tab bar with the
new tab icon and the close tab hidden from view to begin with.
FWIW the setting in konquerorrc is:
[FMSettings]
AlwaysTabbedMode=false
Which is in any case the default. However, even when the tab bar is hidden, it
is actually still present as a couple of pixels wide strip just above the
main display area, though because it is so narrow, you would probably never
notice the extra padding around the toolbar or menu you have directly above
the main display area. When you double click on the tab bar, a new tab is
opened, and this is also true of the the narrow strip "hidden" version of the
tab bar, so that if you double-click in exactly the right spot in the area
just above the main display area in konqueror, a new tab opens and the full
blown tab bar emerges, with the new tab and close tab icons.
Now, for a normal konqueror with toolbars and such, you would never notice
this "hidden" tab bar, and in fact it can be quite tricky finding the exact
spot in such a case, so you may not even believe me when I tell you it's
there (but trust me, keep clicking, you'll find it), however with the
konqueror setup in my kiosk, which has no toolbars or menubar or even window
decorations, the line is quite discernable, since it is the only thing there.
So what I want to be able to do is to be able to completely disable the tab
bar, even in it's dormant narrow strip form, or else disable the double-click
to create a new tab feature, so that no matter what the user does, a new tab
cannot be created.
I'm beginning to suspect that such a thing is not possible, at least not in
kde 3.3.2, but I figured it couldn't really hurt to ask.
Thanks anyway,
Ralph
