We are in contact with Carlo and are working on transferring the domain to the 
KDE e.V.

Yes, that's the idea. Once we have the domain, we can point it to kde-it.org.

What is the status with making the community more official? I was told that 
there are ideas to found a more formal organization representing KDE in 
Italy. Is there any progress?
