You remember, when we all used to use RedHat Linux, and you also ( for what
ever reason ) pretended to use RedHat? And then suddenly one day, you told me
that I can't pretend to use that buggy RH anymore, and you told us how
briliant Debian is, and adviced us to give it a try?
( Historical Point: before that message, Arash Zeini had already started using
Debian as his second distro).
Well, time passed, and I grew up ( a little ). I went to arash, got Debain
Woody from him, and started using it, as my second distro. First I hated (
it's installation ), then I becam to like it, then I started loving it, and
as time passed, it became the only distro which I use. How can anyone live
without apt? how can anyone manages all those rpm dependencies? Debian is the
answer, beleive me, even my parents use Debian. ( Arash Bijanzadeh has
wittness this ).
I will always be thankfull to you Ali, for that advice of yours. But here is
now my advice, if you have a high speed internet access, give Gentoo a try.
You won't be sorry ! I recently found out, that God has also made a second OS
called Gentoo. You see, god always workes using even numbers, s/he created
two human beings ( Adam and Eve ), and after creating Debian, he has realised
that one is not enough, the result is called : Gentoo.
Cheers
