The default wraps to early in any case, I don't remember what the default was. 
When I started with translations I was told by the person doing the commits 
for me (German translation team) that I need to set wordwrap in Lokalize to 
32000 to not get those annoying huge translation diffs.

Its probably somewhere in the wiki, too, but I can't find it…
