Most of them have CLI tools, which shouldn't be any different than using
SVN or Git, Weblate doesn't force you to use the web interface if you don't
like it, the same goes for Transifex, Crowdin, I think the only exception,
in that case, is GNOME Translation Editor (gTranslator) which has integral
support for Damned Lies but extremely buggy and both GNOME Translation
Editor and Damned Lies have no CLI tools but since there's REST API there
is a way to automate the localization process.

Online localization platforms keep evolving, we can't apply the same FUD
the project encountered in 2010 to the current situation like the SNV/Git
stagnation.

And we can most certainly exclude certain languages from the online
platforms instead of banning them altogether.
