Per mi no cal. Jo ho trobo bé com està. Tot és qüestió de costum i
malauradament en el món de les traduccions informàtiques ens hem acostumat
a coses infinitament pitjors, si és que aquesta es pot considerar dolenta.

Quant a la frase

no hi estic d'acord. Si es vol mantenir una coherència mínima en les
traduccions no es poden fer a la lleugera els primers canvis que se li
acudeixin a algú. Potser l'equip de traducció del KDE no té "guia d'estil"
com la gent de SoftCatalà, però això no significa que no s'hagi consensuat
un estil "de facto" al llarg dels anys. Fotre enlaire aquesta tradició
sense un motiu clar (només per la preferència personal d'algú) és, a banda
de la feinada que suposaria, convertir les traduccions en una casa de
barrets.

Oimés quan les traduccions són públiques i tothom se les pot adaptar al
seu gust.
