here's a proof-of-concept patch that adds richtext to it:

i say proof-of-concept because done properly there should be a check to see if 
it should be rendered or not with a call to 
QStyleSheet::mightBeRichText(m_message) and the QSimpleRichText should only 
be created when m_message changes (for performance)

but.. yeah.. this is getting to close to what i'd like to see for kicker's 
popup effect (minus the animation though.. unless we can come up with 
something nice and calming ... )
