OK, I have just committed revision 1207699, which completely disables
sound in KGoldrunner on trunk.

Do I need to backport it anywhere? Or is trunk going to become KDE 4.6 RC1?

Is the KDE Games module still on SVN even?

As I say, I have lost track of what has been happening lately ... :-(

Whatever happens, the KGoldrunner sound features MUST NOT go
out in Release Candidate 1 which is due out in two days. They are
just not reliable and I have no idea why.

Furthermore I have no time to investigate now. It is Christmas in a
few days and then New Year ... My wife and I have to prepare and
enjoy the family festivities ... :-)

And I would have little idea how to investigate sound stuff or even
how to build the latest KDE and Qt libraries (i.e. the ones that are
going out in RC1). For starters, what version of Qt is KDE using now
and how do I get it?

Guys, if anyone has time and would like to re-enable KGoldrunner
sound to try and find out what is wrong, just un-comment the
#define line in kgrglobals.h and re-compile.

All the best, Ian W.
