But it certainly draws attention. And when I want to *play* I don't want to
constantly be notified of something. But when something in gui changes it
draws a user attention. Some might find it intrusive.
I didn't know solver can be switched off. Didn't play much of kpat lately to
be honest. And I guess I really should take care of looking at the app before
writing something about it, sorry :)
But still, notifying user through status bar at each and every turn sounds not
very good. I recall it didn't felt nice to me last time i played. Stephan's
suggestion above about using a popup item sounds good. I'd consider that a way
to go if you ask me :)

I'm not talking about complete removal as this feature is certainly useful.
Just make it less verbose.
