hey,
a few years ago on one of the flights i wrote a picross/nanogram game. (for
those who don't know what that is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonogram )
i got bored with it as soon as a wrote it because (surprise, surprise) i
created all the puzzles for it so it was a little difficult to make it
challenging for myself. before kde 4 Jeremy updated it and today i hacked on
it a bit and faced the same problem again.
the game is in playground/games/kpicross
while playing it looks like this:
http://ktown.kde.org/~zrusin/kpicross2.png
and if a puzzle is solved then, assuming the board offers it, the image showing
a pretty version of the solution is shown as here:
http://ktown.kde.org/~zrusin/kpicross1.png (currently the screw is the only
puzzle that offers such an image).
i figured i'll ask whether there's interest in a picross game in kdegames.
personally i love picross but i think it goes without saying that by myself i
won't have enough time to give it enough love so maybe someone would like to
hack it with me. what it currently lacks is any kind of integration with
kdegames module, a svg stylable board with hints, code to remember which
puzzles have been completed and how quickly, nice animation on completing the
puzzle and more puzzles =)
