To get ideas for the testing of the games I compiled and started all games of
kdegames - we actually have quite a lot :-)
I wrote down some issues (as much as I could see from a 1 minute look at each
game). Maybe they are of interest:
A lot of games did not compile with me. But I suppose this is not the fault of
the game but of me, because my kdelibs are a couple of weeks old - so ignore
these!!! I try not to update the kdelibs if possible because I usually spend
more time compiling the kdelibs than developing the games...
The most important finding is in my opinion that KOLF still CRASHES my
computer. It improved as much that it resets and restarts only X11 and not
the whole computer. But annoying enough. As I can't see that my computer is
so special that when KDE is released this does not occur with several other
people I recommend to look into this. If people loose data when their email
or word processor is killed because of KOLF we will get very bad reviews.
