Posted today to kdepim-users:

This bug has still not been addressed.

It would be great if there was some attention given to reported bugs. ATM it
seems as though they go into a black hole!

That is not to say I do not appreciate the work that people are doing but it
is soooooo fruistrating to have a repeatable bug that does not get fixed.

Message to kde at freebsd.org
____________________________
I have just posted the above message to kdepim-users at kde.org. This bug has
been haunting me now for over a year.

kdepim bug teams constantly say this bug is something to do with freebsd even
though the evidence shows that it also occurs on linux. Despite this no one
from the kde team gives it any attention!!

Freebsd maintainers insist that they cannot do anything about it and remove it
from the list of outstanding bugs. So it seems everyone combines in
neglecting the issue and the bug remains!!

Frankly it feels like anyone who could possibly do something about it is just
passing the buck.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

David
