[kde-freebsd] broke my kde, any hints?

Nobody around with an idea what i could try to troubleshoot the problem?

On a sidenote, the KDE on the server was never started before, (its a server 
after all) and shows the same behavior. The only non standard thing both kdes  
have in common is that they were compiled using gcc42 instead of the standard 
3.4 ... could that be related to the problem?

Please, someone have mercy on me and drop me some ideas what to try next.
