[kde-freebsd] broke my kde, any hints?

Shell prompt looks like you're logged in as root?

There is no DISPLAY environment variable set. Are you running startkde
from a console without X even running? This cannot work. You can run
startkde from an xterm in a failsafe X session (or even from within
enlightenment).
