Well IMHO the problem is: why isn't scripty running? I think there are 3 very 
distint translation domains in kde-i18n:

kdeextragear-*, others, kdenonbeta - should never be tagged KDE_x_x_whatever 
or KOFFICE_x_x_whatever; scripty should run on them all the time;

koffice - should never be tagged KDE_x_x_whatever, only KOFFICE_x_x_whatever; 
scripty should stop running according to the koffice's release schedule

the rest of the packages - should never be tagged KOFFICE_x_x_whatever, only 
KDE_x_x_whatever; scripty should stop running according to kde's release 
schedule.

My team is prepared to update k3b's translation (we are at 100%) the day 
scripty runs; I think this is a very important application and need good 
localization.
