Actually this is something I also was thinking about: to start off with it
would be enough to have School/University name + city + country public on
the website - furthermore a list of contact persons for internal use.

Of course geotagging could be nice, but this could become quite a workload
for who does it and most will not provide geotagging data. So a simple list
first by country would be a nice first step (maybe within a CMS system?)
