You can create keyboard shortcuts to launch your frequently used
programs by opening control center -> Regional & Accesibility ->
keyboard shortcuts. Navigate to the Command shortcuts tab and set the
shortcut you want for any of the applications listed.

You can also add applications to the menu by right clicking on the
menu and opening the menu editor.
