(if i may suggest you something : a newbie can't understand all that.. but 
may a newbie try it ? i think so... i am always a newbie because i can't do 
it ! my problem is the variable setting.. then i will try your suggestion 
and see if it works... and if it works for qt should work for gtk2 too doing 
the same ! and thanks again for doing a good job for those who are not so 
"gifted " as experts... lol)
