qt install problem with finding dlls

Hi,

I installed qt-3.2.3-2-src under cygwin and set QTDIR appropriately.

linguist.exe runs fine but designer.exe crashes on startup with a
segmentation fault

Moreover, none of the applications in the examples directory
work. When I run them, I get:  

This application has filed to start beause cygqt-3.dll was not
found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I have tried adding paths to LD_LIBRARY_PATH and LTDL_LIBRARY_PATH
but with no success.  

Any hints?
