And, of course, the other way around -- but that's the point isn't it?
Until a library is used, it isn't packaged. And until we actually have
input from people who know what they are talking about, or listen to them,
we cannot decide whether anything "provides anything that matters to the
end user".
I think it's true, though that What _is_ missing is a clear list of what
oyranos provides right now -- apart from making it possible to select the
display profile for X11.
And then, if that list is available, it's of course very much the question
whether enough people can understand it properly.

That depends. If KDE uses kolor-manager, then oyranos needs to be
packaged. Should we let that decision depend on whether it's already
packaged? Sounds like the wrong way around.
