Distros may upgrade Qt without upgrading KDE.

A Qt patch-level upgrade may happen in-between KDE SC patch-level upgrades.

Also remember that the Qt version cmake extracts comes from qmake, which isn't 
part of the default rebuild (just "make") of Qt. You have to either reconfigure 
or go into $QTSRCDIR/qmake to build it again.
