That sounds bad :(
Can we undo this all really soon and start over with no Amarok hacks?
We are always very open to patches. It might need some poking
sometimes but in the end Amarok code is the only place this should be
changed. Everything else is bound to cause trouble as we see now.
I'm of course happy to work with you to get your changes properly
integrated into Amarok as far as they make sense.

I can't say much about that to be honest. Would need input from other
developers.
