Sorry for the self-reply, but I mistyped here. It should just be 
"Don't ignore it." Making 4.4 require 4.6 would greatly improve 
many things (I myself am waiting for 4.6 for my project to make 
things a lot easier), but as a packager and not a core developer 
of KDE, the minimum version is of little issue to me. A maximum 
within the same major release would be.
