the priority list probably goes something like this:

0. Robert Knight
1. k-c-d
2. you

=)

so if you 0 fails after reasonable efforts (direct contact, give a week or so 
just to be sure), try 1, if 1 is silent and it seems Good(tm) to you and 
you've tested it yourself commit it ... if nothing else, a commit will 
generate responses ;-P

more seriously though, if there is silence then it's best to just step up and 
Do The Right Thing(tm) for the code rather than let development stall 
altogether imho.
