I'm sorry, all these problems are due to incompleteness. Esp plasma,
but unfortunately also some other core KDE stuff, is still too much in
flux. I sincerely hope the next Beta will be better for basic usage
(and I think it will, from what I've seen until now, but it's gonna be
tagged soon...)
