Some distributions come with two Compose files for UTF-8 locales: the 
en_US.UTF-8 and the pt_BR.UTF-8 one. The latter is exactly like the 
former, with that change. The former is used for all locales, except 
pt_BR.UTF-8.

Somehow, that seems to get constantly broken on upgrade.

Oh, no, I never meant that. AltGr cannot be used as a modifier for further 
shortcuts. We can't do that because AltGr by itself might be necessary to 
compose some of the shortcuts we do define.

For instance, Alt+@ in a Norwegian keyboard would be produced with 
Alt+AltGr+2.

Maybe we should start using "Ctrl+€", "Ctrl+Shift+ø" as shortcuts :-)
