I've been following and one thing that crossed my mind is: Do we even
support win9X? Does Qt4 even support that platform officialy (I think
no, but am not sure)? Thus I don't think we need to care about
command.com, which leaves cmd.exe. I'm not sure I understood the
original problem, so I can't say or test what would happen with cmd.exe.
Can you give a short example?
