Requiring qt-copy ?

Hi,

it seems since yesterday it is required to have qt-copy compiled on the 
system, Qt 4.1.0 doesn't work anymore.
Is this really required ?
This means not only recomnpiling kdelibs regularly, but also Qt :-/
Can't we stay with a released version of Qt ? Do we have a policy regarding 
this ?
