Removing icons from KDE 4 Menus

Well, there I agree (as I also pointed out in my other e-mail). Applications
with a lot of Configure items are not well-served by icons, KMail/Kontact and
Kopete are other good examples.
In fact, I would argue that Kontact should not have an entry for Configure
KMail as well, rather just have it start with KMail Options when selecting
Configure Kontact from the mail pane, etc.
And possibly the two Configure Shortcuts dialogs could be merged, which would
be convienient as well. Especially since if we do it right, couldn't we make
*any* KAction that supports keyboard shortcuts support global shortcuts?
