I can reintroduce the old IPv6 detection algorithm. The new one isn't
ready and won't be ready for KDE 3.4. It would work for most cases, in
which people have IPv6 turned off in their system configurations.
For people with IPv6 turned on, the change would do nothing. This includes
people who do not use IPv6 in their systems, but even so have it on.
I WILL NOT turn IPv6 off by default, nor make it dependent on compile-time
flags. It's high time every app used IPv6 already. We have accomplished
that in KDE over 4 years ago with KDE 2.2. We cannot go back.
