Possibly a better way of phrasing what I'd like to see is that I'd like to see 
it based more on what you're doing with the browser, not which icon you 
clicked.

It should act like the "web browsing profile" if you're browsing the web.  It 
should act like the "file manager" if you're managing files.  It shouldn't 
act like a web browser if you're managing files just because you clicked on 
the web browser icon.

Maybe there's some way of merging this with the way that Konq currently 
functions, but I think the above would be more of a sane default.

Sorry -- I should have been more explicit about my responce.  I wasn't 
responding as to whether or not I think Alex's stuff goes in, and in fact I 
don't care much either way.  I was just agreeing that our current profile 
system is pretty counterintuitive and could probably be made better.
