Ian, I am having a serious problem with your reply:

     You are completely ignoring Jason's argument.

So *what* about KHotKeys needing kdcop to have its full functionallity?


Note: You are talking to developers here, not to Kindergarten, so
      please try to concentrate on technical issues.
      'Lobbying' your proposal brings you nowhere: convince us on
      a technical base - or leave it.

OK, I believe you, but *please* give us a chance to see this sense
by explaining why your argument is so strong that crippeling KHotKeys
would be a minor issue compared to the huge benefit we would get from
moving kdcop.
