I think for Conectiva it is Helio, for SUSE it is adrians, for debian it is 
Ralf Nolden et.al. for Mandrake, I don't know.

I am _very_ sure they know what kdcop is. I am even sure they know every dir.

Sorry, i use kdcop regulary to look up Ifaces. Not for big programs but for 
small scripts making my life easier. Those scripts are used very often by 
power users (proof? The last real program I wrote was still in Pascal in 
school). 

Sorry, but I think you are trying to move something which:

a) is (perheaps) used by third party progs (had one from apps.k.c IIRC)
b) referenced in several articles as being an integral part of KDE (which 
kdesdk is not.
c) used very heavily by almost every power linux user I met in the last year 
during my trainings.
c) and really no worth the big discussion coming up here. We are talking about 
158Kbyte.

Please leave kdcop where it is. The packagers _are_ able to split packages 
when needed. 158KB are not really the point, I think.
