konqueror url box refuses selection

I've recently come across a bug in konq in which the url box refuses to accept 
a selection, using KDE_3_3_BRANCH.

Michael Pyne tells me that it was fixed in HEAD, but apparently this isn't the 
case in branch.  Obviously this counts as a fairly large regression and I'd 
like to know what commit it was that fixed it in HEAD so that I may backport.
