Well I've got to, got to, got to have PyQt, so I'll hack my build script to do 
it one way or another.  What I'll probably do is implement a suggestion from 
Unai Garro and use the lndir program included with XFree86 and X.org to fake 
a srcdir == builddir build without actually having it in the build directory.
