When adding this I'd also swap the parameter. Your own one (the enum) 
first, the QWidget parameters later. Makes using default values easier.

How about shortining the enum name a bit ? From KMultiTabBarBasicMode to
KMultiTabBarMode for example. The style enum values (VSNET, KDEV3,
KONQSBC) could be beautified a bit, too.
