I also think that in kdelibs/mimetypes/applications/Makefile.am 
x-gzpostscript.desktop is left out, so x-gzpostscript is never recognized. I 
didn't commit this to CVS since I have no idea why it was left out.

Yes, using x-gzpostscript doesn't help much even in this case. We would still 
have to have x-bz2postscript.

Still, if no general solution if found (coded) I will write the kghostview 
code to handle x-gzpostcript correctly.
