WM managed MDI (was Re: Three different tab implementations)

Hi,
have anybody taken a look at qextmdi now or any other ideas on what the mdi 
lib in kdelibs should be based on ? (or should it be written from scratch ?)

If any unification of the mdi behaviour of the kde apps should be reached for 
3.2 than it would be good to have an agreement on which foundation that 
should be done in the next time, or we won't have enough time to implement it 
for 3.2, I guess.
