It works (both jobs and netaccess), but is hack-ish. One of my slaves 
implemented subslaves many months ago, but started working just last year 
when I came across the same issue.
Might be worth mentioning it in the docs.
Also how to use an own main loop: qApp->{enter,exit}loop.
This is evil but so far I haven't found a better way to use e.g. QSockets.
