Sounds reasonable. But...

It would be nice if there was a simple address entry editor which could 
be used by KMail to add an address to the address db if KAddressBook is 
not available or if the user doesn't want KAddressBook to be started 
just to add a new address (I know at least one person who would be very 
pleased).

This dialog could be used by all applications which only want to add a 
new entry to the address db without starting KAddressBook.

The Address Book Entry Editor would be ideal. It should be put into 
kdelibs, e.g. in libabc or in kdeui.
