[kde-china] arts-3.5.8 cross compile

when i input ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3.5.8 --target=arm --host=arm ,the error as follow:
................
checking mad.h presence... yes
checking for mad.h... yes
checking the required GSL-Loader library set... complete
checking size of pthread_mutex_t... configure: error: cannot run test program while cross compiling

any idea? thanks a lot!
