Thank you for the patch.  I know almost nothing about this translation stuff.  
Apparently, the instance name passed in the KGenericFactory constructor must 
match the .pot file name in the Makefile.am?  Is this case sensitive?

I have not been able to test KTTS under other languages (trouble installing 
alternate languages on my system; don't remember details now), so I would 
appreciate it if you tested all the GUI in KTTSMgr to let me know what is 
working/not working with respect to translations.  Are the Filters being 
translated?  Are the Talker configuration dialogs being translated?

Sure could use some expert help with this. :/
