Too bad! So probably we have to fit a new option somewhere in the project 
dialog to be able to switch that msgfmt call on and off.

Well, developing for KOffice told me to do things when I can do them, as one 
does not know which conditions one will have in future. 

(There were changes in KOffice that were not done because there was supposed 
to be a new nice solution. However as the nice solution never came, it 
remained still the very old code... and it is probably still there today.)
