[gcompris-devel] Van Gogh paintings, letters

I'm updating my translation (too late for the release), and here are
some comments. I added most in a bug:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=636887
but some felt like they needed more discussion.

I confused a bit by the paintings of Van Gogh. For example, for the
painting "Entrance Hall of Saint-Paul Hospital" I found two references:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Vincent_Van_Gogh_0012.jpg
http://www.masterpiece-paintings-gallery.com/van-gogh-ent-hall.htm
... which looks entirely different.

What I'm really trying to do, is to find the Dutch names of the
paintings, since it is more appropriate for me to translate that rather
than from the English, but I'm not having much success. The Dutch
translation is also not up to date, it seems :-( I don't see this
painting listed as one of his works of 1889 on some lists I had a look
at, maybe for looking for the wrong Dutch name.

Is it at all possible to get the URL of the picture into the translation
comments? It would already save a lot of time :-)

What will be done with these letters? Is it used to build the virtual keyboard?
> All the vowel of your language (keep empty if non applicable)
> All the consonants of your language (keep empty if non applicable)

I'm just wondering if I should leave out infrequent letters used mostly
for loan words, and what to do with letters with diacritics. Please
expand the comments.

Keep well
Friedel
