It's commented in gcompris_confirm.c with a #if 0 (line 204).

My help_bg.svg is a little bit complex with several gradiant. Could you
make a test. With inkscape create a new a more simple one, starting with
a simple rectangle. We may find a good compromise there. If you don't
find an acceptable solution here, we can draw by 'hand' 3 rectangles to
create our confirm box instead of using a file based approach.
