Yes, I confirm the issue. Same issue on gutsy which also ship gstreamer
0.10.14. This version is considered the stable release by gstreamer
themselves : http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/

We could do that but by the time we do it, make a new release, have the
packager ship it, this will maybe no more an issue.

I went on #gstreamer and got this anwser:

I understand, we have to see if they can upgrade to this new gstreamer
