[gcompris-devel] Sound latency

I noticed that under certain conditions, I get a long latency before
hearing some sound files (ogg format). This now longer occurs in some
circumtances, that I can't describe precisely.
I use KDE and it may be due to the sound server (artsd not releasing a
resource ? ).
It is annoying when a board is won, and the congratulation message is
played several seconds after the next board is displayed.

Does anybody has the same problem under KDE (or other) ?
