   I think the problem is that your using an ancient version of FreeNX  
- the current is .0.7.3.

   My advise is to download the current version of the nxlibs and  
compile them (or use a precompiled version, if available to RHLE3) and  
install the newest version of FreeNX. It's not difficult and time  
consuming - use the guide on the FreeNX FAQ/Wiki (see bottom of this  
mail for the URL).

   You need to enable the logging in the node.conf - usually level 5 is enough.

   NX_LOG_LEVEL=5
